Chef was born in a small village named Villa Santa Maria in the heart of central Italy. In Abruzzo, the greater region, wild terrain and hilltop towns stretch from the heart of the Apennines mountains to the Adriatic Sea. Villa Santa Maria is famous throughout the world for its Hotel Institute, also known as the āSchool of Chefsā.
As a boy- the youngest of eight brothers- aged cheese, rolled dough, and simmering pots were household fixtures. At age 13, Chef had already begun working at his brotherās restaurant. He instantly fell in love with the ancient, artisanal scents and flavors that rose from his hometown to the rest of the world.
Fine tuning his craft, he attended Villa Santa Mariaās professional culinary institute and traveled all throughout the Italian Peninsula studying his passion. He cooked for Michelin-Star restaurants and hotels in Venice and Rome, serving household-name-stars like Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Sean Connery, and Luciano Pavarotti.
Today, you can find the culinary master welcoming you with a warm smile as you enter his restaurant in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. Come gather around his table and experience the rich and rustic taste of his hometown, Villa Santa Maria.
